Black Sheep
Growing up I had to get used to being perceived as an ‘outsider’. There were many moments that gave people an opportunity to point fingers or dub me as the ‘odd one out’. As a kid I was never interested in the things that were considered as the ‘norm’. Cartoons were heavily replaced by animal planet documentaries, was never for me and my poor PlayStation was often catching dust…swapped out by drawing my favourite Nikes with marble pens. From the way your mind works, to the choices you made over the years really does ground you. It builds you in a way that transforms you from being once the outsider to the man/woman who stands tall. Going against the grain is now the new norm/ in thing, but some of us had no choice but to be different. Learn to love you for you and let the world deal with it. Create your own wave … because the black sheep will always survive.
